On Saturday, March 3rd our President, Judith Callahan, participated in the Polar Bear Dip at Little Bear Beach in Port Stanley.  The dip was in support of Childcan, an organization that raises awareness and funds for childhood cancer in order to support childhood cancer research and provide responsive and compassionate programs and services to families facing the journey through childhood cancer, from diagnosis through treatment, to recovery or bereavement.  President Callahan was a little hesitant when she  arrived on Saturday morning to find volunteer firemen chopping  away at ice flows in order to create a path.  Once the dip started, almost 200 participants took on the challenge of the icy water and raised almost $75,000.   Judith admits the water was extremely cold, but invigorating, and is ready to challenge dips and plunges in all of the Great Lakes.  Special thanks to Virgin Radio and the Carpenters Union, Local 1946 (London) for their amazing support of such a worthwhile event.  Click Here to watch the video.
